Over 500 people attended the 5th Annual Bookkeepers Summit in Westminster on 13th October 2014
The Bookkeepers Summit returned for a fantastic fifth year. The world's largest one-day seminar dedicated to bookkeepers and the work that they do took over the entire third floor of London’s premier venue, the Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre in the heart of Westminster just yards from Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament and right opposite Westminster Abbey.
Delegates enjoyed a full day of presentations from leading speakers including the Rt Hon Steve Webb, Minister for Pensions, and representatives from HMRC, Companies House, and the The Pensions Regulator. Key suppliers to the profession exhibited at the event including Sage, Xero, and Intuit and ICB gave away a Smart car to one lucky winner.
Immediately after the Summit students and members had a chance to network and unwind at a drinks reception and the annual Members Dinner with guest speaker Nicholas Owen.
