Where is my order?

You can check the status of your order in the Order History section of MyICB

We aim to process membership products, Practice Licences and examination results within 28 days.  

Online examinations and mock assessments are available immediately upon booking with details sent to your registered email address. Please check your SPAM and Junk Mail folders for your email which will be sent from an @bookkeepers.org.uk address. If you have not received your email please contact ICB Customer Support on 0207 856 2567.

ICB postal correspondence is sent via Royal Mail 2nd Class Post as standard, with the exception of examinations sent by 1st Class, international items, and any items that have been requested to be sent via other methods.

How soon will my exam arrive?

Most home-based examinations are available immediately upon booking with details sent to your registered email address. Please check your SPAM and Junk Mail folders for your email which will be sent from a @bookkeepers.org.uk address. If you have not received your email please contact ICB Customer Support on 0207 856 2567.

The Level III Diploma in Self Assessment Tax Returns is not available immediately. This examination will be posted to you on the Friday you specify when booking.

How do I return something?

You can return merchandise items in an unused, saleable condition, in original packaging within 7 days of receipt. Please return items to the ICB UK Headquarters address, at your own cost, and see Terms and Conditions for more details.

Please note we are unable to accept cancellations on any digital items once the order confirmation has been sent.

We are unable to offer refunds on examination fees and any subscription/membership fees including membership fees and student registration fees, Practice Licence fees and the Application Fee.

Event tickets cannot usually be returned for a refund within one month of the event.

Can I cancel my order?

If you wish to cancel your order please contact ICB on 0207 856 2567. Please see Terms and Conditions for more information on cancellations and bear in mind the following conditions:

What payment methods can I use?

Credit or debit card payments can be made online or by telephone.  Please note we do not accept American Express.

If you wish to pay by cheque or postal order, we advise using Special Delivery or Recorded Delivery postal options. Please make cheques payable to 'ICB' and write your ICB Number on the reverse. Take care to ensure Postal Orders are similarly marked to be paid to 'ICB' and note your ICB Number on reverse.

Cheques or postal orders should be sent to the ICB UK address with your full details and any necessary instructions.

What delivery options are there?

Items are dispatched by 2nd Class Royal Mail postage as standard to UK mainland. Postage costs are always included unless otherwise specified. For overseas deliveries, or Special Delivery, please contact ICB on 0207 856 2567 to ascertain postage charges and delivery estimates.

Postal examinations are sent by Royal Mail 1st Class as standard.

Membership items such as Student Cards, Membership Cards & Certificates, Practice Licences and Qualification Certificates undergo various checks and may take up to 28 days to be dispatched following an order.

Textbooks and merchandise items are dispatched on a weekly basis.
