I have a client who has set up a Charity and they are looking for someone to undertake the Independent Examination on their accounts.  I have asked a few ICB Bookkeepers who I know locally but none of them have capacity at the moment.

Hi Christine,

We undertake Independant examinations and are members of ACIE.

What size is the charity as this impacts the quoted fee?

They are a small charity - their income in year one is just under £25,000 but they want the accounts to be Independently Examined as they can't apply for larger funds without it.

I Independent Examination services.  Do get in touch if you are still on the lookout for an examiner.

Also note, that I have space for one more pro-bono examination this year, depending on income and transaction numbers.

P.S. £25k is within threshold of pro-bono service provided,  What's the average number of transactions involved?

The transactions are minimal - 5-10 transactions per month.
