South West branches - do any offer virtual attendance?

I’m in the final stages of transferring my AAT Level 2 & 3 Accounting qualifications to ICB through the exemption route and plan to start my Level 4 journey soon.

During today’s Making Tax Digital webinar with Ami Copeland and Laura Macarthy, Laura mentioned that many branches (inlcuding hers...I think Lincoln?) welcome ICB members to join meetings online, even outside their geographical area.
Since there doesn’t seem to be an active Cornwall branch, would Devon, Avon or another South West branch be happy for me to join their sessions virtually?

I don't know about the South West branches, but the internet doesn't mind where you are and if you want to come along to an Aberdeenshire branch meeting via Zoom you'd be welcome.

Thank you so much. Laura offered the same on the recent ICB MTD webiniar and invited those without a local branch to join their meetings at the Lincolnshire branch as a virtual attendee - so I have signed up for their Oct meeting!

Devon branch is back up and running and has quite a few Cornwallians so the more the merrier. 


First meeting is virtual on 7th Feb 7-9pm so please join us.

Hi, I've moved to Cornwall from West Midlands and was (and still am) part of the Warwickshire Group as it was the closest.   As Devon has now opened up I may switch to that one too.

I attend all online branch meetings but am from London. To attend the online brnach meetings, there is no geographical boundries. I am welcomed in all online branch meetings. I have attended the following online branch meetings for almost 3 years now.

City of London Branch

Kent

Devon

Cambridgeshire

Warwickshire

Manchester

Aberdeenshire

Lincolnshire and Notinghamshire

North London (Enfield)
