Hi,
I've just sent off my mock exam to be marked for level l basic bookkeeping. Is it worth doing the on-line past paper before i do my actual exam? What are your experiences?

I haven't done an exam for years as i took 14 years off work to look after my children so maybe it would stop me being so nervous??!!!

Hi Nikki,
I took my Level 1 exam last November. I had also, like you, attempted a past paper marked by my tutors. I did decide to try the online mock exam, I think it was only £10 and found it very helpful. It is more or less in the exact format of the actual exam, and put me much more at ease when I did do the exam soon after. It gives you a real feel for what it's like.
I hope that helps and that you pass when you do eventually sit the exam. I'm really enjoying my studying, which is a strange thing to say.

Hi Nikki,

I am on the same boat.
Have not done an exam for years, not have been looking after kids but been working.
Now that i have to do it i feel no nervous.

Will be taking a mock even though i have taken the paper version.
I reckon you should try the online version.
I will be taking the online mock and soon will be taking the exam!!

I took the online past paper and thank goodness I did ....... was nothing like the exam I had envisaged.  Well worth the money if you are not sure what to expect.

I agree with Liz, I'm glad I took the mock as it gets you used to the "real" exam plus it can help point out areas you may need to brush up on.

it is worth doing a mock exam, it gives you a feel for the exam, plus anything you might have reservations over,

Will definately be doing one as you were all agreed!! I shall just wait for my paper mock exam to come back from the course i'm doing with ideal schools just to make sure and then i'll do it. Will let you know how i get on!!

Hi It is very much worth doing the online paper it is set out better than what i got and i am studying with training link love the course but did think the £10 was very well spent.
I am sure you will be fine dont worry about it to much.

Hi everyone!

I did the on-line mock exam today! I was so nervous when i clicked start!!!!! But then once i got into it i actually really enjoyed it!! Much better than scribbling down on paper! I got 100% and was so thrilled!!

I was then feeling really brave and decided to go for the real thing and i passed that with 100% too. Yippee  that has done my confidence wonders!

Thanks for all your support. It was definetely worth the on-line mock exam and would recommend it to anyone who isn't sure.
