Hi

I've been trading since April 2009 and have had no need to operate any of my clients via computerised software other than excel - I need to pass the Level 2 Computerised exam by 30 September 2011 to comply with the ICB - has anyone any advice about which software is easy to pick up and cheap???? - I envisage only using it to pass the exam.  I do use SAGE Payroll which I find straightforward so do you think SAGE Instant would be an option?  Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi

I am on the last legs of level comp sage, any sage packages comply with the icb, so sage instant would be fine but you could double check when purchasing.  I have learn't with Home Learning College, they are abit expensive but they are very thorough when teaching.  Hope this helps :)

I have just taken my level II computerised and am awaiting my results.

I used Sage to do it and found it very straightforward.

My studies are homebased through Ideal Schools and with the Computerised Level II and III course you get Sage Instant Accounts included in the cost.  They are a great college and very helpful.

Hope this helps

Thanks Colleen  - I can get the Instant training book for £99.00 which offers the training guide and software - looks like this will be the best option.  Thanks again

Hey sandra

Thanks for the info ... it look like SAGE is the one....I used the Distance Learning Partnership for my other exams - they were also good but its just so expensive when all I really want to do is pass the exam for the ICB....Thanks again.
