Xero

Hi,

A client of mine is interested in using Xero for his bookkeeping. I've had a look on their website and had a play around with their demo data and all seems pretty good.

Has anyone else used Xero? If so, how good (or bad) is it?

Cheers

Hi Steven,

I am just in the process of starting to use Xero. I'm just migrating a client over from Sage and nearly finished the company setup. It does look pretty good but I've not really used it in earnest yet to provide much of an opinion!

Hi Everyone,

Get in touch with Ami Copeland.... I met her yesterday at London meeting and she would be able to give you her opinion about Xero. Apparently there are few problem.

Good Luck,

I have been using Xero for our practice bookkeeping since last June and now have quite a few clients also using it on my recommendation.

It doesn't suit every business but for those it does there is nothing better for ease of use, for bits you can hook into it and of course the bank feeds.  The bank feeds are simply awesome.  Every morning the previous days bank movements are automatically dropped into Xero.  Bookkeeping is very much a single click on "OK" affair.  Easy for clients and easy for me to monitor.

I am using other online systems for clients and have trialled around 20 more over the past few months so I am fairly up to date with what is available.
