Congratulations on passing your exam.  As I understand it, no you don't have to wait until your pass your computerised exam.

Though there are some point to note.
1.  Until you've passed your computerised exam you wont be able to offer any computerised bookkeeping services.
2.  To maintain you associate member status you must pass your computerised exam by the 31st of September 2011 what the ICB are calling M-Day.

Hi Nikki,

Congradulations on passing your computerised exam!!

I am just about to start my studies for this exam and want to find out how this exam is carried out, would you please tell me?

I thought it is a online exam just like Level I, but it seems I am wrong here - is it right that you have the exam sent to you by post and you complete it in 2 weeks? Is the time enough to complete the exam tasks?  where could I get the software you used?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Anna

Hi

They do post it out to you but you complete it all on your accounts package and send them the print outs of the reports they ask for on the exam paper so it is all done on the computer.I think 2 weeks is plenty as i managed to complete mine in 3 days while also having my 4 kids running around my feet!!

You can find the link for fusion accounts in the software part of the forum ami from ICB has a post on there and you get 2 months free trial.

Hope this helps and good luck

I have registered with Fusion now, but I just made a mess to start with (not very good...opps)

under 'bank deposit account', I accidently entered a figure now showing as: 200 went out of my bank account - I wanted to delete it, so I clicked reverse - it looks like it has balanced itself now. All I want is a clear account without any transactions, but seems I made a mess now. surely there is a way to delete entries but can't find the way to do so anywhere. I wonder if you could help please?

thank you
Anna

Hi no fusion dont have an option to delete entries all you can do is reverse them but you can email them and ask if they can set you up another business so you can start again , i currently have 4 businesses on my account.
They are very quick at responding so you will prob have your new business set up by 9am tomorrow.

Hope this helps
