Hello,

I recently completed and passed the computerised level II with Sage 50 Accounts Professional, and I am now in the progress of starting a Practice. Please can someone suggest which Accounts software is ideal for my start-up Practice.

Kind regards

Hi David

I would say that if you are comfortable with the software that you used to pass the exam then stick with it. Alternatetively, you could research online (cloud) accounts software. These can work out cheaper for you and clients and there's no risk of losing your data if the computer crashes. Also, you can access it anywhere you can find and internet connection and browser.

I am currently trialling Clearbooks, but there are others out there.

As for needing a lawyer, should you need one the ICB have a legal team and am sure they are more than capable of helping you as you are a member.

Hope this helps

David

I am also interested in this post, I am looking to move one of my clients to an online accounting software, I will be doing my own research, however I would to know which software out of Fusion, Xero, Clearbooks etc members have found the best/most functional?

Thanks.
