Hello everyone - I've been studying on my own and starting to feel a bit isolated, so thought I'd introduce myself and get involved in the forums!

I'm Kate and I work for a small construction company, started out as secretary but somehow managed to end up doing the bookkeeping as well (still not sure how that happened). I found that I really enjoyed it, and decided to study it properly, rather than just picking things up as I went along.

Just passed my Level 1 exam last week, and looking forward to getting stuck into Level 2. Not to mention the reassurance of having more experienced people to put my daft questions to!

Hi Kate,

Believe me when it comes to bookkeeping there are no daft questions! The area of bookkeeping is so vast that you will always come across things that you are not sure of and we are always on hand to help!

Hi Lady M, thankyou for your reassurance! You're right about it being a vast subject - there's a lot to get through, but I think I'm getting to grips with it a bit, now that I've already found answers to some of my questions here on the forum. It's great to get in touch with others who've been in the same position. Thanks!

No problem at all Kate! Keep studying so you can get that 100% mark in your exams!

If you need any help please don't hesitate to ask.
