HI,  

I am looking for a suitable package for a proposed New Client which open around 10 new clients accounts per week. Currently they do manual accounts.

 I use Sage for my other clients, and am waiting to hear from Sage regarding their best solutions.
I hear some smaller firms use Sage, but run seperate Excel sheets to monitor client transactions.
Would be interested in any suggestions.

Hi Peter.

I have only just seen your post on this.

My immediate answer is DO NOT USE Sage for legal accounts - it just does not work nor will any other off the shelf package (Quickbooks et al).

The release date of the Legal Bookkeeping course has been announced - http://www.bookkeepers.org.uk/News/1323 and without giving too much away the same advice appears in the course.

I can reccomend a package for legal accounts which will comfortably cope with the new matters you mention. However as I don't wish to use the forum for advertising - send me an email infoATaccountslegal.co.uk and I can let you have details. (replace AT with @).
