Hi All,

I need help I'm doing my level 2 computerised BK and one of the things I'm struggling with is re-locating my saved edited file.  I have edited a suppliers report to add in balance and saved it in my reports in the demo data.  But then when I go back in I can't locate the file I have saved and open it.  Any ideas???????

Hi,

If you saved the report amended report layout in the reports directory, it will not appear.  You will need to open the report writer then open to select a file and go to the directory where you saved it. You should then be able to open it  
The reports need to be saved in a subdirectory of the Reports directory. EG: Reports>Customers>My Customer Reports.

The report must have the extension file name of .reports

I've done what you've said Martin, but now how do I open the edited report template to show me the suppliers details with the added balance bit I've added on?

When you have located it via report writer, highlight the report then select the open icon on top left or in report write there is an option to "open and exisitng report".  This latter option will take you into an explorer screen.  You need to navigate to the relevant directory and find the file
