Fusion Accounts - Trial Balance

Good morning

I have just signed up for the trial use of Fusion Accounts and am finding it very frustrating.  I was hoping to use it for completing the Level III Computerised exam.  However on attemping the mock exam I am experiencing many problems which I don't recall having with SAGE.  I would like to ask if anybody has been able to prepare a trial balance without including nominal accounts ithout balances.  I did send a request to customer support but their response was 'the trial balance always shows all accounts'.  This would mean printing off four pages instead of one.  If anybody knows a solution to this I would be most grateful.

Regards

Hi Helen

I also chose fusion to do my level 2 exam and I managed to get it to print with no zero codes on. There is a tick box which you untick, ( I think)Tongue out

If this is your first experiance with Fusion and you are use to sage then you are going to have a fustrating few days. I was not too keen on the terminology the software uses, I did not find a posting batch module, some dates you put in you did not need to put a slash others you did need to put the slash................................  Want me to go on.
If I fail this exam I think I will go out and buy sage at least it is a programm I know I can use.

Anyway enough of my bitching let me know how you get on.

hi Helen

Just had a look for you..

Go into the trial balance from financials.
You will be asked what period you want to chose. To the right of that is a tick box. Untick that and then click the generate button.

Hope that helps

Regards

Peter.

Hi Peter

Thank you for your post and sorry for the delay in responding.  I did in fact email customer services at Fusion and they added the button as a result of my question which I thank them for.  However I have spent (as you so rightly say) a very frustrating time trying to get to grips with this system.  I have found several other problems and have now decided not to waste any more time and am going to revert back to using SAGE.  Good luck with your exam results.

Helen
