Another new student!

Hello all Smile

I have literally just signed up with Training Link to do the Level One, so I thought I'd better sign up on here too and have a browse and a chat to other people in the ICB boat!

I currently work in pension administration which isn't really the direction I want to go in, though at least I suppose I partly work "in finance". I've been wanting to sign up to ICB for a good while now, but have finally bitten the bullet and gone for it.

It's nice to read all the success stories and all the questions people come up with - I'm sure I'll be coming up with questions and I hope I'll be posting my success on here too, eventually!

In the meantime, if anyone wants to know about SIPPs... or not...! Wink

I studied with Training Link, I found them very helpfull and the course material excellent preperation for the exams - good luck!

Liz - Please don't start a 'Lord of the Rings' wing of the ICB, pretty soon it will be followed by a Harry Potter, Star Wars, Star Trek ... Then there will be war breaking out amongst all the factions - although I suspect the Vampires and Werewolves will win, cos they have the darkest and most dastardly thoughts of all  Tongue out

oooooo - Star Wars - needs to be Clone Wars - I want to be Captain Rex all the time but my son won't let me!

Vampires and Werewolves would be too scary for the likes of me though Frown

Do you think we lobby for a separate heading for each group as the regions have? 

I would have to shape shift though as I couldnt make up my mind whether to stick with Tolkein or Star Wars!

I did their "free taster course" and they were helpful, friendly and wrote very prompt responses - all good for me as motivation can be an issue! I am determined to do this, though Smile

As for my name, it's just the name I use for all the forums I join - it was the book that was sat on my desk years ago when I needed forum name inspiration, and it's stuck!

I've actually never watched Star Wars - now there's a confession Embarassed

Just thought I'd throw my 2p in, I'm all for the Twilight vampires and Werewolves (or shapeshifters)!
