Hi everyone.
I hope someone can help me here. I have spent the last four and a half years working on a remote cattle property in outback Australia, and found that the cattle work is not something I want to do forever. I have come back home to England for a while to look at my options, one of which is to find a job that I could do freelance from the middle of nowhere. Bookkeeping is looking promising, as I enjoy working with numbers, and the ICB courses seem to be well recognised, and provide job specific training. What I would like to know is, if I completed Level I and II at least here in England, and then my circumstances changed and I decided to return to Australia, would these qualifications be recognised over there? I am also concerned as to how specific the courses are to England in the law, tax etc, whether I would need to retake something similar in Australia in order to be informed about their law etc?
Any comments or help would be much appreciated.
Thanks.
