ID Requirements for Examination Centre

Hello All,

I am hoping to continue my path into membership by taking the Level one exam at home, and then take the Level two exam at a centre.

However the requirements to take the examination say either:

" Passport , Driving Licence  or Photo National Identity Card "

Unfortunately I don't hold a passport and have never driven, the only photo ID I have is the National Bus Pass issued by my local authority (Plastic Card with computer embossed phtograph) would this suffice or will I need to get a Passport, I'm now registered disabled and it is exremely unlikly that I will ever go abroad.

Hi Steve
I was refused entry to an exam because my passport was a year out of date - the Pearson Centre I went to insisted that it was a valid passport I used (even though my appearance has not changed and I could match the signature and name with my bank debit card). I do not have a photocard driving licence, only a paper one and they would not accept that either, so I had to forfeit my exam fee. When I rang the ICB they said that I had to have a valid passport or photocard driving licence as nothing else was acceptable. So I find it quite strange that James now says you may be able to get entry with a bus pass!
