Hi,

I was just wondering if there are any templates available for standard tasks.  I am looking for debtor spreadsheets such as an aged debtor spreadsheet.  Could someone please help point me in the right direction for this.  Any help would be appreciated on this.  Thanks.

Hi Paula, I have made a stab at doing an aged debtors spreadsheet.  If you want me to email it to you I can but it will need to be tested (and let me know if you find anything wrong with it) as I am not a great excel whizz!!

It's a pity it couldn't be uploaded directly to the forum so it could collectively be tested and improved upon if need be and then others could choose to use which one appealed to them most. I know this is one of your own suggestions for this forum. Has there been any further discussions on it?

Hi Peasie

I believe it is on the list but is a low priorty at the moment as James has got a lot on with the online MLR and CPD.

I thought this may come along a bit quicker as I had heard rumors that we were getting a download area for legal docs re a deal done with ICB.

Perhaps we should look at opening a generic google account and using google docs whilst waiting for the forum to inbed this feature.

Unless anyone knows of a better system that we can use for free.

Kind regards
Stuart

There is also the possibility of using something like dropbox , either to share a folder between users or to published thinngs via the public link feature. The link could then be posted to this forum

Ami @ ICBsaid:

“Would you like to email me the Excel spreadsheet template so that I can put it up as a download right here?

We are looking at a document sharing system at the moment but there are a few issues with the traditional Wiki system.

Stuart mentioned the other project that ICB is developing: an online portal giving access to practical guidance on compliance and dispute processes in HR, employment law and health & safety.

Members can download policy and correspondence templates and premium access will provide over 400 documents, which should be used in conjunction with experts in HR, employment law and health & safety, tax and VAT on the existing ICB technical advice line."

Premium access? Ballpark figure for the maximum likely cost?

I have emailed it to Stuart to take a look at, then if Stuart thinks its ok it could be emailed to Ami?

You could always upload things like this to www.bkpr.co.uk  It's a free resource for bookkeepers to share templates and loads of other things.

Any idea when this portal will be up and running, I am looking for a simpler letter of engagement letter than the one I use.
