Hello all, 

Really quick question, I have a P45 to post out to a previous employee.  I was wondering whether or not to send it by recorded delivery so that I can ensure that it gets there safely whilst also covering my back in case he turns around and says that he never received it.  Would you send it recorded or is it a waste of money?

Personally I'd stick with Royal Mail ordinary delivery.  Can you take a photocopy?  Alternatively, if you have done it using the HMRC website then you could save it as a PDF?

Just a thought...
