Have you found LinkedIn to be useful? I suspect I don't make the most of it, although I've built up quite a few contacts since I went self-employed last year.

I just accepted you Kate Smile

To be honest, I mainly use it to keep in contact with people that I have met through networking, however I think that if any potential clients may look us up - it is helpful to appear professional, with a few business contacts.  I feel that it would give them more trust in us, if that makes sense.   Of course, our clients are able to leave testimonials on our profiles so a few glowing reports from them wouldn't hurt Laughing
