I went to see a client last week (my first Ltd Co) and I'm just doing the MLR side now...
The client says he set up his company online with Companies House, only in Feb. He said that him and his wife are directors and equal shareholders, but that he never received any paperwork following the set up.
I've got the company number and can see the company listed on the Companies House website - name, address, number, etc. Obviously I can't see the directors or shareholder details.
Can anyone advise what I should do? Does the fact that I can see the name, number and registered office suffice, or do I need to insist on seeing the director/shareholder stuff too? I've also done a search on company directors using "Company Director Check" and he appears but not his wife...
I just want to get this right in my head as I'm bound to face it again at some point...
