Good Question accounting-4.When I orginally received my Practise License I called ICO and ICB about whether I needed to registry. ICO said no - (as per the dicussion https://www.google.com/url?q=http://www.bookkeepers.org.uk/Forum/Thread.aspx%3Ftype%3D%26cid%3D0%26tid%3D82136%26lp%3D71451%26page%3D1%26sort%3D&sa=U&ei=MUcBUILNDsaIhQfgkcCTCA&ved=0CAkQFjAC&client=internal-uds-cse&usg=AFQjCNHCEZ429cw_O_n-uyVgxt1IyYU19w)As I was handling data but not passing it on. Cannot remember what ICB said - sorry.I was updating my MLR online and thinking I am passing this on to a Third Party (ICB & HMRC). So I have now registered - only Tier one at £35 for a year.Perhaps could ICB just state whether we do. My take is just processing clients data and not passing on details so you don't BUT all clients have to go through MLR and therefore Yes.I have searched for info on ICB website and couldn't see anything. (but could be me)RegardsClare
Remember there are specific exclusions in the Data Protection Act 1998 S29(1)(a) for the prevention and detection of crime, which is what MLR submissions are for. Kris
