Well on the way - next stage questions

So stage 1 completed after about 10 days self study from the Kaplan study book (also Peter Marshall's book) and a distinction to start with (2 marks lost stupidly due to my not thinking properly). Despite not having done any financial work for 5 years, it came back very quickly (100% in the mock) and I found myself enjoying this more than I thought I would. I rate the Kaplan books, there are a few typos and the odd mistake, but found it very easy to follow.

I have time on my hands while out of work (unless the local archaeology unit needs diggers, or an employment agency wakes up and does something), so I will use this time to do stage 2 Manual in a similar manner using books only (including Kaplan's revision book), as quickly as I can. Having downloaded the syllabus, I have done most of it before, so hopefully it will feel the same as stage 1, ie it will come back quickly. I hope I can complete this in just over one month. Is this realistic?

For stage 2 Computerised, I only have Sage Instant Accounts. I think I may do a course of one kind or another here as there will be things that have changed since I worked in finance, and take a bit of time on this one. Any recommendations?

Cheers,
Richard
