Hi. I completed OU B190: Introduction to Bookkeeping last year and finally got my results through. I was thinking of joining the ICB but have read some places that B190 only offers exemption from ICB level 1 but not anywhere official.
Looking at the info on joining by exemption it seems that if this is the case it would be cheaper and quicker to just use my new knowledge to take the level 1 exam to gain membership, which would also have the advantage of introducing me to the format of the ICB exams since I would probably want to take the higher level exams later.
However I am wondering if it is acurate that B190 only offers exemption from level one or if there is any dependence on the mark achieved. My overall examinable score was 94 with all examined areas of knowledge "well demonstrated."
