Hi

I have just purchased the level II manual paper book, is it worth buying the revision kit book as well?

Thank you

Hi Laura

i am self studying for the new syllabus. For Level II, I used the Level II Certificate in Bookeeping (both manual and computerised), followed by the revision book and the online mocks. I have felt very prepared before doing the exams and would definitely recommend using the revision books.  The online mocks were also excellent for preparation for the exams, as they are marked and then tell you what you got wrong so you can work out where you went wrong.

Good luck

Hi Laura,

I would highly recommend the revision kit book as it gives you a lot of extra experience.

There are 120 questions and tasks to answer and it really helps to embed the knowledge.

I've just spent the last few days going through the manual level 2 revision kit and I feel a lot more confident in my understanding of the subject. The study text is ok but there is not many tasks to go through to embed the knowledge.

I'm going through a few mock exams tomorrow and the next few days and hope to do the manual exams in the new week or so.

Hi Laura,

Just to say that I also found this short tutorial useful in helping me to understand what side of the accounting equation to put each account.

It not made very clear in the Kaplan book.

It also has a nice cheat sheet which helps you to remember if it should be a debit or credit record.

thanks
