Hi,

General query about the availability of Payroll reference Books. I have tried looking in several Bookshops and online, but nothing with any value for money. What do most people have for payroll refence? All I have is my course texts, which by now a re getting past their sell by date.

Can anyone recommend a reference book, if so, which one?

Thanks in advance.

Kind Regards,

Andrew Fleming.

Good Evening Rocky

Like yourself, I have been looking for payroll books and I can't find any !!! I think the only real source is HMRC or a payroll software suppliers help/tutorials. Sage have a very good self study course and you get certificates as well available on ebay :-

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/like/360637424905?limghlpsr=true&hlpv=2&ops=true&viphx=1&hlpht=true&lpid=108&chn=ps&device=c&adtype=pla&crdt=0&ff3=1&ff11=ICEP3.0.0-L&ff12=67&ff13=80&ff14=108

You also get the the software for 180 days if you are thinking of doing an exam.

Regards

Trevor

Trevor,

Thanks for getting back in touch. I will still use my course work books. As for doing more exams, quite frankly I am all examed out, as I am in the middle of doing my self-assessment revision doing mocks and the such like.

I am still in the process of deciding which software to use for payroll, I will make this decision when I have a client who actually wants it.

Thanks for getting back,

Andrew.
