Hi,
I have been informed that I have a text book that has some incorrect answers in which does not help me out when it comes to the above
subject.
It tells me that when working out the figures for simplified VAT receipts the net amount should be rounded up to the next penny.
If the calculator is showing 2.3333 would I round this figure up to 2.34 or leave it alone and use 2.33 as it suggests in my book?
This rounding up is very confusing when it comes to discounts and net amounts as it is not following the conventional method learnt
in school?
