Hi all,
I've read through the forums on this topic but can't seem to find a definitive answer.
Is the exam for the old syllabus manual or computerised? I've never taken a computerised exam before and that is freaking me out more than the actual content of the exam.
Also are there any mock papers out there that anyone could email me? - alison@edenbookkeeping.co.uk
Any help/advice would be much appreciated.

Hi
As far as I'm aware, its based on a computer at a PearsonVue centre. I think its the same as the level II Manual exam. I'm doing it next week.
I'll send over some past papers, which are written but are good to practice on.

Have you sat the exam yet? if so how did you get on?
I am sitting Level 3 Old Syllabus exam in 2 weeks time.

Hi, I am also taking this exam in 2 weeks time, and have to pass in order to have enough qualifications to move on to ACCA! The fact that the deadline of 31st of March is looming is making me panic a bit!

Hi All. I am also one of the people rushing to sit the old-style level 3s before the deadline (aargh!). I would be very grateful to receive any mock papers as I don't have any at all.
Wells, thinking about you today. Hopefully you'll let us know the good news soon.
Alison, I'm not certain but hopefully we'll hear from Wells later. Have you taken the online mock from ICB shop? It's usually a pretty good indicator of what the actual exam will be like.

Can you believe that I have just been to my pearsonvue centre to sit my level III and it was cancelled as their systems are down! nightmare - don't know how this is going to pan out with the dreaded 31st March deadline!

Hi Everyone
I am also sitting my Level III manual (old syllabus) in 2 weeks time. This is my second attempt (I sat the exam too early last year before I had really properly revised and ran out of time to finish). You do the exam on a computer - just like the Level II exam. I have purchased the online mock exam through the ICB - costs £10 but I think it will be worth doing as time was my biggest problem.
But if anyone has any other mocks availble to email I would be really grateful - I already have Feb 2010 and Feb 2008. My email address is elspeth.gordon@btinternet.com

I have just passed the Level 3 Manual Bookkeeping last week and I have got some past papers. If anyone still needs some please email me at: olakazmierczak@gmail.com and I will send them over to you. I must say that practising the past papers gave me more knowledge and understanding than the course books I have been working through.
Somebody has mentioned that they only have until 31st of March to sit the old syllabus exams.As far as I know, ICB have extended that deadline until the end of June .
Good luck to everyone who is preparing for the exams.

> Don't give up! It is a tough paper, but you'll do it eventually. I found time an issue, so just practice, practice, practice so you get a bit faster and more confident. I have past papers if you need them - they really helped me.
