anyone sat level 2 computerised exam recently and know how long it takes to get the results please? I know they say 28 days but I'm hoping it might be a bit quicker than that ☺️

Thanks

Ha Ha i did mine on 16th lol and have looked hundreds of times already lol.

Yes i'm still studying a i bought the whole package, like u just submitted the level 2 old, i spoke to my tutor as i'm on the old sylabus too and he said when i have passed this one to upgrade membership AICB as you'll get exemption from the BA5 & BA6 exams under the new structure, although you'd still need to complete the course work if you were continuing with your study. What are you thinking of doing next are you carrying on.

Typical I just found this....

Title

Code

Type

Level II Certificate in Bookkeeping B1
B2
B3
3 x online assessments
Level III Certificate in Bookkeeping and Accounts BA4
BA5
BA6
BA7
3 x online assessments
1 x centre-based assessment
Level IV Certificate in Advanced Bookkeeping and Accounts ABA8
ABA9
1 x online assessment
1 x centre-based assessment

So if we've done manual levels 1&2 and computerised level 2 old then we just have BA7, ABA8 & ABA9?? (Notice how I've made that sound easy!! lol!!)

Ha Ha thank you, they shouldn't be long, hopefully get round to you tomorrow, I just keep checking now to see if it tells you what you got wrong, had a kebab to celebrate lol,

i have seen exactly the same thing earlier, and meant to google the BA7 but forgot, but just have done and thats the Manual Level 2, whick i have passed, so as soon as i have done the coarse work for BA5 and BA6 should skip straight to IV (ABA8 + 9) i would think.

BA7 Level III Final Assessment Mock 1

Key Details

Level III Certificate in Bookkeeping and Accounts online mock Paper BA7 – Final assessment Mock 1

Information

Please note that if you have successfully completed the externally assessed examination M2 (Level II Certificate in Manual Bookkeeping) from the 2013 syllabus you are exempt from taking this paper. The mock paper for BA7 will assist you in taking the final externally assessed paper for the Level III Certificate in Bookkeeping and Accounts. It should be completed after you have taken papers BA4, BA5 and BA6.

Hope i've read it right lol

I've had a beer to celebrate your result!! ☺️ (It's a good reason to justify a not-even-midweek beer!)

ive done manual 1&2 and computerised 2 (if I pass) so we're at the same level I guess?

i used home learning college for my studies but wouldn't ever again, not that they offer the course anymore anyway.  To say they were tardy with marking my work was an understatement!  When i applied to sit this exam they replied to say it had been applied for but that was the last I heard. I ended up booking it direct with ICB.

So will you continue to study or take a break?  I have a 3 year old son so I'm looking forward to a fun study free summer with him!

Yes that is the result of completing, it will be you any day soon too, you have to go into the upgrade mempership area.

I will be carrying straight on studying with a few breaks for holidays etc, my daughter is 21 in a few month and will be going to uni in September, so needed something to fill my time and keep me occupied when she goes lol or my husband would be following her cos he will be sick of seeing me sat crying on settee ha ha. I've paid for upto MICB, plus self assessment and payroll so theres plenty there to keep me going lol. You do right having the summer off, it will still be there after :)

That's good! I have just called ICB to see where to go next and they have said that when I upgrade to associate member I will be exempt from level 3 so I basically go straight for level 4 ABA 8 & 9. Which is awesome! So that's where I'm heading after i have done my diploma in self assessment.

Hi

Just the ones for BA5 + BA6 as these are not covered in Level 2.

My tutor at Ideal Schools has told me to complete the course work (i think 5 assignments), before moving on to the next level, as these are on partnerships, and not for profit i think? (dont quote me on that name of that one i havent loooked at it lol) but first one is definately partnerships, obviously these will be tested on on level 4 exam so you need to know them.

Am sure if Brian at Ideal see this he will let ne know if i have got it wrong :)

Hi ladies, after speaking to my tutor, they have given me guidelines to do the b5 & b6 to enhance my knowledge. So I will be doing these too. But once an associate you are exempt so you don't have to do them. Sorry if I confused any one 😊I cinfused myself haha!

i have my first potential client meeting on Friday and wondered if you have any clients and if you have a list of questions you ask your clients at the first meeting, a check sheet when they engage your services and a contract?

if you do and are happy to share I'd be very grateful & my email is karen@gascoigne.org.uk.

thank you!!!
