Payroll Mock exam

I have just completed the payroll mock exam Able Architects 14/15 (using Sage). Has anyone else done this one and experienced differences between their deductions and those specified in the answers? Specifically on Tax, NIS and pension. Any feed back appreciated.

Many thanks

I did notice the same, answers provided - the minimum wage rate is for FY 13-14, although it should be for FY 14-15 - therefoere all reports are incorrect. Queried this but haven't got reply.

Also Task numbers? where is Task 3? It was missing on Exam paper as well not only on Mock papers

I took exam and failed- makes me wonder if the rates were incorrect for markings as i lost many marks on computerised part.

Hi,

just a reminder that minimum wages change in October and not in an April.  so, depending on which months you are working on it will vary through a financial year.

hope that helps
