I would like to take on a student, and thought that offering an Apprenticeship might be the way to go, to ensure commitment  and quality.  Does anyone know how to go about this?

Hi Valerie,

I would be really interested in such an opportunity as I am looking to gain some experience with a view of starting up my own practice soon. Unfortunately, I cannot dedicate full time - in fact, I can spare a day a week or so. I do appreciate that you might want something different and a bigger commitment but I would love to hear from you and understand more about what you are looking for. If you think we could discuss some possible arrangements, please drop me an email on christiyana.georgieva@yahoo.co.uk

Many thanks

Chrisy

Thank you for your interest Chrisy, but I am really looking for someone to work at least 10 hours per week and it would not be in my own interest to spend money and time training someone who wants to start up on their own.

I can only afford minimum wage for a school leaver hence my interest in starting up an Apprenticeship Scheme.

That's absolutely fine, Valerie, I thought this might be the case.

Good luck with your search :)

My name in is Cheryl,  and I too am looking for a Book keeping apprenticeship in or around Luton.

I am currently taking the Level 3 exams and would love to put things that I have learnt into practice.

I am not looking for paid work as the experience itself would of value to me.

I eventually would love to start my own practice but I am happy to help out others with workloads.

Please feel free to contact me to discuss via my email.

Thank you

Same here I am afraid.  I am looking to set up my own business and am windiing down from my full time job right now.  But if you need help short term I can offer a few hours a week just for the experience.

Good luck with your search.  Sue
