Hi,

With the SIA, can I use this package for mutiple clients, bearing in mind that they would be backed-up, or is it a case of one SIA for each client?

Advice gratefully received.

Hi Chris,

You can't use SIA for multi clients as the licence is only for one - which would probably be yourself/your business.

Also you cannot install more than one copy on your PC.

You would require to have a multi-client licence which would be expensive - particularly from Sage!

I know you can get Sage One for multi-client which is cloud based but I don't touch that after my disagreement over their so called 'free copy as long as you remaim a member of ICB' where they tried to charge me after having had it for a year or so. Thankfully I had not used it as I have something much simpler and easier.

I can recommend Solar Accounts - I currently have the desktop version (I bought this about 9 years ago) but they have moved over to cloud versions too at a very reasonable price. You can still buy the desktop version but there will be no more 'free upgrades'.

Others will recommend VT, Quickbooks etc and it all comes down to what you feel comfortable using so best to trial a few before making any purchase. Most have 30 days trial periods and some 60 days.
