I have been asked by a charity to carry out and independent examination of their accounts. Has anyone done this before and what sort of fee would you charge? The charity's income is below £150K and has roughly 700 transactions for the year using sage instant accounts.
I do not want o overcharge, but want to make sure the fee is fair and covers the work involved.
