I am hoping to register with IFA to complete my studies and bacome a financial accountant.

Am i still allowed to be a member of ICB and more importantly am i still able to continue as a licenced bookkeeper? 

Something in the back of my head tells me i cant be a self employed licenced bookkeeper if im still in study...even though its further study.

Can anyone advise???

Hi Jennifer

I think you're looking at this from the wrong angle.  You should check with the IFA for what they will allow you to do as a student of theirs.  I know there is much talk about the ACCA's Regulation 8, which restricts what their students can do.  The AAT are slightly more relaxed.  I've no idea what the IFA rules are though.
