Brightpay is very good and easy to use.
Free for up to 3 employees so I suppose that is out of the question for exam.
For single company it is £89 plus Vat per annum.
However, if you are looking to use it for clients then the bureau version is £199 plus Vat for unlimited clients and unlimited employees.
It includes Auto-enrolment and provides all letters if required. It handles Nest and Now Pensions and prepares CSV files for upload. Also handles other pension providers but I have not used these.
Also includes CIS and support is free.
There is also a 60-day free trial.
Payslips etc can all be done by email if required or printed.
There is a 'cloud' version available with a host of features but this carries extra charges per client as you can allow them to access it for payroll info - or just stick with desktop version if this covers your needs.
