New Practice in North Scotland

I would initially like to say 'hello' to all my fellow bookkeepers out there, as I launch my new practice ' ClearSkies Bookkeeping', and am looking forward to being involved in the Institute and hopefully meeting some of you in the future.

I am based in North East Scotland and hope to develop a practice to support the local rural businesses in Aberdeenshire & Moray. If anyone out there has any contacts or is aware of anyone looking for a bookkeeper, then I would welcome any information you have.

Looking forward to contributing to the forum in the future.

Good afternoon Steve
So nice to hear from someone else in the North East of Scotland
I am currently the Branch chair for the area, albeit we have been rather quiet recently, and as I do not have any assistance I struggle to be fully active with branch meetings etc.
If you can give me some more information regarding yourself and your business I will then have a better idea of what all that you do as there is always work out there

Hi Suzanne, and many thanks for your response.

At present I am in the very early stages of setting up my practice, and  am still trying to attract clients so am fairly flexible on workload I can take onboard.

The practice has been set up after I left a Senior Finance role in December working for an Oil & Gas company, and I have over 30 years Finance experience in Manufacturing, Services, and Oil & Gas. I can offer input into both Manual and Computerised bookkeeping to Trial balance, with experience of Budgetting, Cashflow, Stock control, Fixed Asset control, and Credit Control.

I am also prepared to get involved with SMES, and drafting of Limited company draft accounts if required.

 

The business is home based in New Deer, so I am fairly well placed for any work around Aberdeenshire and Moray.
