professional indemnity insurance recommendations

I'm getting quotes for professional indemnity insurance and was wondering if anyone has any good recommendations for companies you have used or currently use.

Either based on good quality customer service, the cover offered or competative prices based on a small practive offering bookkeeping and payroll.

Thanks

There are a couple that recognise ICB and may give you a discount Trafalgar and QDos come to mind.

Hi,

Try Pinsure Limited - I have been with them for 10 years as ICB used to recommend them - not sure if they are still on the list!

Tell them you are with ICB in case that makes a difference.

I have looked at others in the past but Pinsure always came out better plus they are very helpful.

Hi

As Qdos went bust and I am a bit weary to use HCC International Insurance Company PLC, are there any recommendations from ICB of Insurance brokers which we can use?

Will appreciate your help.

Not true (nearly fell off my chair). QDos are still trading - I am insured with them currently. Perhaps you mean Trafalgar.

Qdos, providers of the ICB-approved PII scheme have not gone bust. The Qudos (with a u) in that link are not affiliated in any way and are a totally separate company.

FYI:

Qdos Contractor is a trading style of Qdos Broker & Underwriting Services Ltd, a registered company in England and Wales with registered company number 06012716 and registered offices at Unit D, Troon Way Business Centre, Leicester, LE4 9HA.

Qdos Broker & Underwriting Services Limited is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (Firm Reference Number: 460886).

Qdos Broker & Underwriting Services Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of HCC International Insurance Company plc, a member of the Tokio Marine Group of Companies.

Tokio Marine HCC is part of Tokio Marine, a premier global company founded in 1879 with a market cap of $38 billion.*
