Hi, could anyone recommend good CIS software as there seems so many to choose from?  I would normally default to Sage but there may be other cheaper options.  The company is fairly small, using about 10 or so subcontractors.

Thanks

Hi,

Brightpay payroll software includes CIS & AE for one company - £89 plus Vat per annum.

Bureau version - unlimited clients etc - £199 plus Vat per annum - I think they are offering a 25% reduction just now seeing as we are half-way through this tax year.

Hi there, I use Moneysoft Payroll and it is charged via a yearly subscription (different prices depending on how many people you need to enter on system) and very user friendly with good phone support.  Hope that helps.

I also use Moneysoft Payroll - the Payroll costs me £120 per year for unlimited clients and comes with a FREE module to CIS which is very good. You can file the reports online through the software, and it creates very professional looking Deduction Statements for the Sub-Contractors.

I am not responsbile for the Payroll for the client I use it for, yet I was still able to set up the CIS part of the module.  It even allows you to email the statements directly to the Sub-contractors individually or as a group to the Client for them to send out directly.

I have no experience of any other software, and previously used the FREE HMRC online filing system and Excel.

Hi Debs

I've used Sage, Iris, HMRC's own and Moneysoft and Moneysoft definitely comes out on top for me. Great package for the money, easy to use, looks professional and help at the end of the phone if you need it. Great, highly reccomended
