Hi everyone,

I just want to find out how likely is it to get some accounts experience? I have worked for a chartered accountancy practice for over a year so I have experience of processing information up to TB. Since having a baby in June, I decided to go self amployed and do some bookkeeping to help paying the bills. I would like to carry on increasing my knowledge as I would like to become a chartered accountant one day. I am cyrrently studying Level 4 AAT and I think it would really help me to have some experience drafting accounts, etc.

I considered finidng p/t work but am worried that no one will consider employing me due my self employed bookkeeping business on the side. I'm not looking to poach clients and would happily sign any sort of legal documents. I can't go to work full time as I couldn't afford to pay for both my daughter's nursery fees from my salary. I just want to carry on progressing and would happily do up to 8 hours for free for anyone willing to take me on and giving me some training.

I live in Aylesbury, Buskinghamshire so i would consider anyone in a radius of 10-15 miles.

Any thoughts, even if you think this is a ridiculous idea will be appreaciated :)

Thanks
