My client currently uses Kashflow but wants to move away from them as they unilaterally increased their prices

I was going to suggest an online prduct such as Xero or Quickbooks but think some add-on(s) might be required

does anyone have any recommendations?

Have you had a look at QuickFile? I use QuickBooks online and like it but I'm currently looking at QuickFile and up to now I'm very impressed.

FREEAGENT IS A GOOD SOFTWARE. The prices per month are:

29+VAT for LTD

24+VAT for Partnership

19+VAT for soletrader

There are no add ons and you can both have access at anytime. In terms of prices pretty much similar to other cloudbased software.

Produces professional invocies if your client will be sending this directly to their customers.

There is also a free software called Capium which is alright for very basic recording of sales and purchases. can handel VAT returns but I was not too impressed with the invocie template layout. It can be changed but I am not very technical with coding.
