We are delighted to have ICB Head of Awards, Jacquie Mount, coming to our branch to give a presentation covering the on-going developments at HMRC with the emphasis on Making Tax Digital and the changing role of the bookkeeper and the tax agent. This is the biggest change to the way bookkeepers will interact with their clients and HMRC in a very long time and it will affect every facet of our work. The session will be interactive and there will be plenty of opportunities for questions. Topics will cover the current position with regards to MTD and the pilot scheme, the deadlines that you and your clients/employer will need to meet, the software requirements that will be needed to enable the system to work successfully, and last but by no means least, any knowledge you might need to acquire to enable this to happen.

Jacquie is a very highly regarded figure within the ICB and her speeches are always well received by members – this definitely isn’t one to miss!

The Globe is a great venue with a dedicated meeting room which can seat up to 35 for these events. A buffet is included in the booking fee. If you have not been to a branch meeting in the past, please come along and join this very friendly group.

Book tickets in advance to avoid disappointment. We are looking forward to seeing you there.
