Having recently passed the ICB Level III Diploma in Payroll Management, and with an interest in pursuing self employment, I am hoping for advice on how to advertise my services without too much financial outlay.  Are there any specific Payroll Services websites or data bases that I can add my details to?

Hi Wendy

I would set up a Linkedin and Facebook page as both are free. 

On Linkedin you could connect with local businesses/groups and on Facebook you can share your page to friends/groups etc. 

You could also contact local accountants that don't offer a payroll service.  I've also put business cards in a few local places like supermarkets and sandwich shops.
