Hi All,

I have been a member of the ICB for 7 years and have been trading as Celtic Bookkeeping Services, in the last few months another business has opened up locally trading as Celtic Bookkeeping and Accountancy. I am a but unsure of how to proceed the majority of my work is word of mouth and refferrals, I dont have a website but do have a web domain that I can use.

Does anyone have any advice, I have been told by a friend that this could constitute "Passing Off" has anyone dealt with this before?

 They would have to change their name I think. Maybe best to approach them first and see if they will be reasonable about it...... if not then you'll be able to take legal action. Good luck and please keep us posted....... this could happen to any of us.
