Hello,

I am trying to get sorted for the new GDPR and I was wondering what other members are doing about keeping the data they hold on their computers safe?

I hold my clients personal data on my computer, and the computer has a firewall and is scanned for viruses. Should I also be encrypting the files held on the computer?

I am having difficulty finding information about what I need to do to comply. All I understand, in what I've read so far, is the hefty fines! So if you can point out any articles that you have found useful, I would be most grateful.

Thank you

Clair

Hi Vidhan,

Thank you for the link. I have started to work through the steps and feel more confident about what I'm supposed to do already.
