One of my clients has moved to a salary sacrifice based pension scheme and wants to pass on the (ER) NI saving to the employees.
The payroll software I'm using doesn't have an automatic way of calculating this so I had a look on line and found some calculators which will do it for you. Great, except I'm really trying to understand how it is calculated as I know the client will query.
So if I apply the 13.8% ER NI to the amount of salary sacrificed I get a different value. Does anyone have any expierence in dealing with salary sacrifice NI savings? What am I missing? Thanks
