CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS- tell us what you do

The Financial Sector Skills Council (FSSC) has approached the ICB directly to request information about bookkeepers to add to the Case Studies section of its website.

The FSSC, which acts as a link between industry, government and education, publishes case studies and job profiles as part of an online resource giving information about the range of career paths open to finance professionals and students, and currently the bookkeeper is under represented.

It is vital that we use this opportunity to demonstrate the importance of the bookkeeper to the industry, and highlight the wealth of tasks ICB members complete  for such a wide variety of different businesses.

If you are interested in telling your story and promoting the role of the bookkeeper, please forward 200-600 words about the job you do and what led you to it.  We look forward to receiving submissions from employed and self-employed members alike, and would advise you to have a quick look at the existing case studies published on the FSSC website to get a sense of the format we have in mind.  The key ingredients to successful submissions will be honesty and positivity!

All submissions received by 1st August will additionally be published to the main ICB site.   So get writing, we can't wait to hear from you......
