What is bookkeeping?

Further to the article in last month's InVOICE, we are welcoming members to send in a brief profile of who they are and what they do for submission to the Financial Sector Skills Council (FSSC).

The FSSC publishes Job Profiles and Case Studies of the sector's varied jobs on its website here and has approached the ICB directly asking for information on the kind of work our bookkeepers carry out.

It is important that we promote the vital role played by the Institute and we hope you will let us have your profile shortly.  We are keen to represent both employed and self-employed memebrs and will publish the prfiles on the main ICB as well.

For a little inspiration please see this profile recently submitted by ICB member, Amy Ayton MICB (Comp) PM.Dip
