ICB's Pat Marshall in Race for Life

ICB director of operations, Pat Marshall, took part in the local Basingstoke Race for Life earlier this summer, raising money for Cancer research and getting the very respectable time of 38 minutes.

Pat Marshall, who was accompanied by her daughter Leigh, ran the entire length of the 5km track with more than 3000 other women.  In addition to sponsorship from the ICB, Pat was also sponsored by Gary Hupston at accredited course provider Training Link.

We offer our heartfelt congratulations to Pat for this tremendous achievement which is only surpassed by the recent news that Pat has also been given her 1 year all clear from breast cancer.

In 2010, Cancer Research UK is hoping more than 700,000 women will come together to raise over £60 million to fund Cancer Research UK's life-saving work.
