The ICB wishes to congratulate one of our Fellows, Sarah Douglas FICB CB.Dip PM.Dip, who has just raised over £450.00 for charity. On 22nd August Sarah Douglas took part in the Glasgow Skyride, biking through the 'sunny streets of Glasgow' on behalf of her bookkeeping practice, Douglas Accountancy and Bookkeeping Services.
"My Practice took part in the Glasgow Skyride to raise money for DEC Pakistan Flood Appeal. It was short noticed but, between my clients and friends, I raised £472.31 including gift aid using the Just Giving Website. My clients who sponsored me were very generous, and all felt that the cycle was for a good cause. I think the scale of the disaster has been a lot to take in. I completed the circut 3 times so a total of 24km!"
