The ICB's legal bookkeeping course, which was announced at Conference 2009, will be available to students from October. The course has been introduced to satisfy the huge demand from those bookkeepers specialising in completing accounts for solicitors and legal professionals.
The learning material will be available as a distance learning course with tutor support. Individuals who have shown competence in the ICB's core bookkeeping syllabus at Level II, will have the opportunity to complete the legal bookkeeping course to qualify as a Certified Legal Bookkeeper.
