I was very pleased to see this year that several distance-learning Training Providers joined us at the regional seminars;  Lesley Smith from MyCourse was at Aberdeen; the inimitable Gary Hupston from Training Link was at Birmingham; Kelly Callow from new provider U Learn was at Cardiff; and Daryl Tempest Mogg and  Amanda White from ADL were at Ashford.

It is very nice to have their support and I know that they found it very useful, not only to hear what was happening at the ICB but also to meet students.  Distance-learning providers and students rarely meet so the seminars provided a good opportunity.

Students can meet even more training providers at the ICB Conference in November, when most of them will attend or have exhibition stands.  They will also all be hoping to carry off the highly coveted Training Provider of The Year award and Luca at our Gala Dinner.  The dinner will be held in the presence of ICB Royal Patron, His Royal Highness Prince Michael of Kent  in the magnificent surroundings of the Banqueting House on London’s Whitehall.
